Accessibility & ADA Compliance
KICKZ is committed to providing a digital experience that is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
ADA & WCAG Commitment
KICKZ is designed, developed, and maintained to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. We strive to meet the requirements of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by providing equal access to our goods, services, and digital experiences.
Our goal is full and equal enjoyment of the app for all users. We regularly test with automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers to identify and remove barriers.
Assistive Technology Support
KICKZ is built to work with common assistive technologies, including:
- Screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack
- Keyboard-only and switch navigation
- Voice control and speech recognition software
- Browser zoom and text-only magnification
- System-level preferences like reduced motion and high contrast
We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels for icon-only controls, focus-visible indicators, and clear heading structure so assistive technology can interpret the interface accurately.
Built-in Accessibility Features
- Keyboard navigation: every major action can be reached and activated without a mouse or touch screen.
- Focus management: visible focus indicators and logical tab order throughout the app.
- Text alternatives: meaningful alt text on images and labels on icon-only buttons.
- Color independence: status, errors, and rarity are communicated with text, icons, and patterns—not color alone.
- Respect for motion preferences: animations are decorative and do not hide critical information when reduced motion is enabled.
Known Limitations & Third-Party Content
Some third-party sneaker images and embedded 3D crate previews may not yet include full text alternatives or may be supplied by external partners. We are actively working to improve descriptions and focus handling for these experiences.
We cannot control the accessibility of external websites linked from KICKZ (for example, GOAT or StockX product pages), but we provide clear link text so users know where they are going before they leave the app.
Report a Barrier or Request Accommodation
If you experience any difficulty using KICKZ, notice a barrier, or need an accommodation or alternative format, please contact us. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will respond as quickly as possible, typically within two business days.
Ongoing Testing & Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review new features before release, run automated scans against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, and perform manual keyboard and screen-reader tests. We also update this statement whenever significant features or standards change.
This Accessibility & ADA Compliance Statement was last updated on August 1, 2026. It will be reviewed and updated at least annually, or whenever material changes are made to the app.
